This is the story of one man’s courage and his desire to break a drug cartel and build a new society.
Joran de Guelderland is a lone sailor, taking his yacht the way the wind blows him, until one day he ‘fishes’ two black objects from the sea, which turn out to be a deposed island Prince and his daughter.
From that moment his life changes.
He marries the Princess within six hours of their meeting. He rescues various kidnapped islanders from their lives of misery, prostitution, child abuse, piracy and domination as captives of the drug lords, and systematically he establishes law and order, on the two small Islands set in the middle of the South China Sea.
As a Martial Art Master, and Chinese Medical doctor, his combat techniques and mastery outsmart the drug lords – especially when he cleverly sets the one against the other. Throughout the various battles he trains and leads his newly formed army, navy, air force and Royal guards. They are invincible.
Interspersed between the battlefield, the palace, the two islands, the drug busts, the ruthless measures taken against the drug lords, Joran maintains an intense love-hate romance with his beautiful wife Butterfly.
But he has greater success on the battlefield than in his marriage and finally leaves her and the Islands. However fate brings him back, and by a string of coincidences they meet again to learn that he is the father of a little daughter called Jorana.
After his last and most intense battle, he is hailed as a hero by the locals and welcomed back to the palace ……..
A smashing adventure-romance
